Hornsey, like many Haringey wards, is very diverse. In addition to two large estates: the Camsbourne and St Mary's (formerly known as the Lightfoot) there are also areas of Victoriana, 1930s housing, new builds and historical buildings like the Hornsey Church tower. Community facilities include Priory Park that is much used and well loved.

There are different concerns throughout the ward and we regularly monitor these concerns so the community police can priorities actions. Currently youth issues and antisocial behavior are a rolling priority this has also been joined by burglary and Drugs alcohol misuse and disorder.

New youth provisions are being strived for and solutions to the other issues are also being looked at.

We are always striving to increase representation from the different parts of the ward on our ward panel this keeps the priorities representative and fosters community cohesion. So if you live or work in Hornsey please contact us to join the good works that we are trying to achieve.
