They make a vital contribution to the success of our projects and services in the Haringey borough – not just because of the time they commit to us, but because they bring an extraordinary range of knowledge and experience into our organisation.

In return, our volunteers enjoy a stimulating environment that allows them to put something back into the community while developing their personal and professional capabilities.

Volunteering Opportunities

The Haringey Community & Police Consultative Group have a range of opportunities to offer for experienced volunteers who are able to make a vital contribution to the  development of the Group and the community of Haringey.

In short, we are looking for people with the time to give and the enthusiasm to assist in developing :-

• a young peoples project
• an out reach scheme, and
• a communication and evaluation systems
  

You are required to have some general administration skills, be a good communicator, knowledge of project work,  have the right attitude and community values.

You don't have to be retired as the hours can usually be flexible to suit you. You could be guardian and looking for ideas; a student or new graduate and looking for some experience; in full-time or part-time employment and looking for some variety; out of work and looking to brush up on your work skills; and so on.
